Paul McCartney Carpool Karaoke

Paul Goes Home

Paul McCartney Carpool Karaoke

Paul McCartney decides to do some Carpool Karaoke in his old neighborhood with James Corden of the Late Late Show. It's a wild trip down memory lane for Paul, who gives some people in his old Liverpool neighborhood the shocks of their lives. This is a very weird video in which Paul shows that it's not that hard to draw a crowd in the middle of an ordinary day in an ordinary place... when you're Paul McCartney.

"Paul McCartney Carpool Karaoke" was filmed 9 June 2018. In it, Paul McCartney performs a mini-set at Liverpool's Philharmonic Dining Rooms. During the Karaoke singing with Corden, Paul introduces "Come On to Me" live for the first time. "Come On To Me" is from Paul's "Egypt Station" album released 7 September 2018.

Paul brings his band along and they sing snippets of some of his classics, such as "Back in the USSR," "Lady Madonna," and "Blackbird." This is a great little video where you learn a few things about Paul you likely never knew. Worth watching.

Among other things, we learn who lives in Paul's old flat now and where his father used to do the wash (not in a washing machine).

This video was broadcast on "The Late Late Show" during the week of 17 June 2018. The showing was timed to preview the release of "Come On to Me," Egypt Station's first single, on 20 June 2018. "I Don't Know" is the reverse.
